• Building inclusive financial systems, or microfinance; reinforcing microfinance institutions to offer and provide quality financial services particularly for the poor; integration of microfinance institutions into the formal financial sectors in the countries in which they operate

• Creating and improving upon the enabling environments of emerging market countries to make them more welcoming both to domestic and international investment

Since mid 2008, C. Ross Croulet of Croulet and Associates is contracted with the Louis Berger Group (www.louisberger.com) to to function as Senior Microfinance Advisor for the Tijara Provincial Economic Growth Program (www.tijara-iraq.com).  The purpose of the program and work is to assist the Iraqi microfinance industry to grow, modernize and integrate itself into the formal Iraqi and broader Middle East financial sector.
